In all these years, I have discovered that my tension to socialise was not just an adult’s behaviour but was linked to an immanent skill that was meant to characterise my working mentality.

I got lucky to work in various sales roles for amazing companies and I had the chance to strategise and execute several sales plans. This means that I sent far too many emails, I have done numerous calls and meetings, a good part of them were a failure. But this is the game!

Sales is everything about increasing revenues and retaining business by understanding major customer trends, competitive dynamics, and the organisation’s core capabilities.

Sales however is not about you, is about your client. Sales is about adding value to them on a daily basis, not necessarily by being physically there next to them but by end customers using your product or service.

Sales means being supportive to them, building trustful relationship and strong partnerships. It means full accountability and responsibility to serve the company’s and client’s values, maximising the potentiality of business.

There are so many things I have lived throughout my working life and I believe that sharing them with the community is important.

Knowledge and experience is so valuable and there are so many people out there that carry amazing understanding of this domain.
